outside the box: Two days out

I hugged Len goodbye this morning, and we lingered. He knows I'm scared, and frankly, I think I have him stumped. Men aren't really equipped to handle rattled nerves and moments when freaking out is the only option. He told me early on that I couldn't go by myself. Not even an option. So, when he asked if he could work remotely from Costa Rica, Team One said yes. I was shocked but desperately grateful. Along with the usual stuffed bags, we're packing laptops and camera gear, external drives and flash drives saved with anything from home we might need.
    So while I'm down, he's up and running, making IT magic a world away. I'm partial, but he does this magic thing very well.
    I have all I need. I have Len. I have my boys who both hugged me last night and told me everything was going to be okay.
