See Rock City Barns book

Remembering the iconic road trip and seeing the barns on the rural roads.

Len and I are proud to announce the release of our newest book, See Rock City Barns from The History Press. With two years of research and road trips, this historical book chronicles the evolution of the the ingenious marketing idea of painting barns as advertising. From the first painter Clark Byers to the repainting of a few that remain (900 originally and now, 40 standing) to the home owners to Rock City's patriarch Bill Chapin to the Tennessee Titans to Yee Haw Brewing, the story is vast. Thank you to Stephanie Stuckey for writing the forward. Award winning travel photographer Len Garrison's works compliments the words.

We are honored to curate this slice of Americana.
