march, 2013 | when i was a little girl of no more than ten, i lived in clarkesville, georgia. my parents had a getaway cabin in hiawassee which seemed a million miles away and you had to go over a mountain to get there. every weekend, the three of us would hop in the green chevy. truth be told, i hated it. i was the only kid there. my grumbling became an art form.
