We LOVED having your document a very special moment for our daughter to see later when she starts asking questions about her adoption. The moments you captured were just perfect, exactly what I’d hoped for. I still tear up every time I look through the photos! Judy and Len took a lot of care before our photo shoot to make sure they documented what we wanted and asked a lot of questions to understand our family dynamics. By having both of them there, we were able to get photos from two angles and two perspectives, which was wonderful. They were in the background most of the time, but made sure the posed photos were what we needed before our time together ended. And, they even interacted with all the kids! When I first read of Seeing Southern's Day in the Life photography story, I knew that it was how I wanted my family documented. Twice  Judy and Len have come into our home to document the everyday moments with my family. To say that we've been pleased with the final product of photos would be an understatement. When I was a little girl, Mama said the camera loved me. That relationship ended when life exchanged my blonde ponytail with a gray bob. I feel the same inside but I haven’t been satisfied with my outside for years.  Now I’ve published a book, launched a website, and need a media presence. I managed to limp along with candid shots until Judy Garrison at Seeing Southern Photography “got ahold” of me. I honestly have so many good pictures now it’s impossible to choose one. I'm Sal's brother-in-law, (Helen's brother). I loved what you wrote about him, and you struck a chord with me! He also made me feel like I belonged anywhere; your story about having drinks at the exclusive resort in old clothes is vintage Sal. He took us on his boat around Manhattan, and tied up at an exclusive dock on the East River (with the help of a generous tip to the dockmaster) so that we could have a picnic lunch with the greatest view in the world (for that day...the next day, he would be championing a different "greatest view"). He made me, too, feel that (with him) I could go anywhere.

Len & Judy took our engagement photos today. We are not good in front of cameras, my fiancé hates forced smiling, but Len & Judy made it fun! We had a great time with them today and recommend them to everyone!! Can't wait to get our photos back!
